Terms of Service

1. Agreement and eligibility

These Terms are a binding agreement between you and CareTabs (“CareTabs,” “we,” “us”) governing
the CareTabs website, web application, and mobile applications. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree
to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a binding contract.

2. What CareTabs is – and is not

CareTabs is a private information organizer. It may be used to store identity, medical, insurance, financial, legal, estate,
property, password, PIN, and other records and to share those records with people selected by the user.

CareTabs is not a medical provider, law firm, financial adviser, insurer, fiduciary, estate planner, emergency service,
password manager acting as your fiduciary, or system of record. Nothing in the Service is medical, legal, tax, financial,
insurance, or other professional advice.

Do not rely on CareTabs as the only copy of information needed for medical care, emergencies, legal rights, financial
access, or estate administration.

3. Your account and security

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials and devices secure, using reasonable security practices, and
promptly reporting suspected unauthorized account access to Support@Caretabs.com.

One account is for one person. Do not share account credentials. Use CareTabs’ invitation features when another
person needs access.

4. Authority to enter another person’s information

By creating or editing a care profile, you represent and warrant that you have all permission, legal authority, consent, or
other lawful basis necessary to collect, possess, upload, store, use, and share the information you enter.

This may include authority as an agent under a power of attorney, guardian or conservator, executor or administrator,
parent or guardian of a minor, or informed permission from the care recipient.

You are responsible for determining whether applicable medical, financial, privacy, estate, fiduciary, computer-access, or
other laws permit you to possess, store, disclose, or use a particular record or credential.

5. Accuracy and user-entered information

CareTabs does not independently verify information entered by users and does not warrant that it is complete, accurate,
current, authentic, legally valid, or suitable for any particular purpose.

You are responsible for reviewing and updating information and for decisions made from it. CareTabs is not responsible
for harm caused by inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, improperly entered, improperly deleted, or improperly shared user
content, except to the extent liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

6. Passwords, PINs, SSNs and financial credentials

CareTabs does not require you to store passwords, PINs, Social Security numbers, bank credentials, or other high-risk
information. Store such information only when reasonably necessary and when you have legal authority to possess it.

Possession of a password, PIN, account number, or other credential in CareTabs does not itself grant you legal authority
to access, transact on, control, or impersonate the owner of the underlying account. You are solely responsible for
ensuring that any use of a stored credential is lawful and authorized.

Do not use CareTabs to facilitate identity theft, unauthorized account access, fraud, stalking, harassment, or other
unlawful activity.

7. Sharing profiles

An account holder may invite others as Admin or Read users. Unless the interface states otherwise, either role may
expose all sensitive contents of that profile. Admins may also modify information and invite others.

You are responsible for deciding whom to invite and for ensuring you have authority to disclose the information to each
invitee. CareTabs cannot undo information an invitee viewed, copied, downloaded, photographed, or otherwise retained
while access was active.

Invitees may use profile information only for the authorized purpose and must not sell, publish, misuse, or further
disclose it except as authorized by the profile owner or law.

8. License to operate the Service

You retain ownership of information you upload. You grant CareTabs a limited license to host, store, copy, transmit,
encrypt, back up, process, and display that information only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, support, and
improve the Service, comply with law, and carry out your instructions.

9. Acceptable use

• Do not enter information you lack authority to possess or disclose.
• Do not use CareTabs for fraud, identity theft, unauthorized account access, harassment, stalking, unlawful surveillance, or other unlawful conduct.
• Do not upload malware or infringing/unlawful material.
• Do not attempt to defeat authentication, security, access controls, rate limits, or plan restrictions.
• Do not scrape, bulk-extract, reverse engineer where prohibited by law, or resell the Service without permission.
• Do not falsely represent your identity or authority when creating or accepting access to a profile.

10. Subscriptions and payments

Paid plans are billed through Stripe at the price shown at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled,
subject to applicable law and required renewal notices. Cancellation takes effect according to the plan terms shown at
purchase.

Except where applicable law requires otherwise, payments are non-refundable. Deleting an account may immediately
terminate access and does not create a refund right.

11. Third-party services

CareTabs relies on third-party providers for hosting, storage, authentication, payments, email, analytics, address
autocomplete, logging, and optional AI functionality. CareTabs does not control every act or outage of a third-party
provider.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CareTabs is not liable for losses caused solely by third-party services outside
CareTabs’ reasonable control, except where applicable law imposes responsibility that cannot be waived.

12. Suspension, termination and deletion

CareTabs may suspend or terminate access for material breach, unlawful use, security risk, fraud, legal requirement, or
discontinuation of the Service. Where reasonably practicable and legally permitted, CareTabs may provide notice and an
opportunity to export information.

Deletion and retention are governed by the Privacy Policy. Users should export information they need before deleting a
profile or account.

13. Security and incidents

CareTabs uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, but no system is
completely secure. CareTabs does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or absolute security.

If CareTabs identifies a security incident involving personal information, it will investigate and provide notices required by
applicable law. Users must cooperate with reasonable security steps, including resetting credentials or terminating
compromised sessions when requested.

14. Disclaimers

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”
CARETABS DISCLAIMS IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR
PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

CARETABS DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE,
COMPLETELY SECURE, OR THAT USER CONTENT WILL NEVER BE LOST, CORRUPTED, ACCESSED, OR
DISCLOSED, OR THAT STORED INFORMATION IS ACCURATE, CURRENT, AUTHENTIC, OR LEGALLY
EFFECTIVE.

CARETABS IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DECISIONS OR ACTIONS TAKEN IN RELIANCE ON USER-ENTERED
INFORMATION OR FOR AN INVITEE’S INDEPENDENT MISUSE OF INFORMATION AFTER THE USER
AUTHORIZED ACCESS, EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT LIABILITY CANNOT LAWFULLY BE DISCLAIMED.

15. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CARETABS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT,
INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS,
LOST REVENUE, LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF DATA, IDENTITY-THEFT-RELATED LOSSES, OR COSTS OF
SUBSTITUTE SERVICES, EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT SUCH LIABILITY CANNOT LAWFULLY BE LIMITED.

16. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CareTabs and its affiliates, officers,
directors, employees, and agents from third-party claims, losses, liabilities, damages, judgments, penalties, and
reasonable costs arising from: (a) information you collect, upload, store, or disclose without required authority or
permission; (b) your unlawful or unauthorized use of another person’s credentials; (c) your sharing of a profile or actions
of persons you invite where the claim results from your authorization or instructions; (d) your violation of law or third-party rights; or (e) your material breach of these Terms.

This provision does not require you to indemnify CareTabs for CareTabs’ own conduct to the extent applicable law prohibits such indemnification.
